This Autism Awareness Week 2023 we’ve been busy celebrating, campaigning and educating others all about what autism means.
We started our week off by doing a presentation to Bradford Social Workers and professionals about what we do and why this week is so important.
Other events on our week of Autism Awareness:
1. Discussing the autism article in Able Magazine
2. Nadia ran a session creating an acrostic poem based on our members views on autism.
3.Tuesday we were working with Cauda Equina Champions Charity on accessible leaflets.
4.We have been creating a video to celebrate autism awareness.
5.Margaret, Amy and Rebecca ran a session with activity sheets.
