What a busy week we have had at People First preparing for our celebration event!
Next week we will be downstairs in Central Hall celebrating the FANTASTIC work that all our members did in 2025! Across this week everyone has been writing down a few of the things they are proud of to read out at the event or record on a video.Â

It has been great to hear people saying about the things that our members are proud of and seeing members talk about the great work that others have been doing!
Monday also featured the first People First Podcast episode recording of the new year!Â
On Tuesday our Board of Trustees met for their first meeting of 2026!

Our Board is a very important part of how People First KC is run, as every member is a part of the board and gets to have a say in how the charity is run. We have board meetings roughly once a month on different days which gives everyone a chance to attend even if they attend other services on other days!

They are supported by an independent advisor who makes sure everyone understands the things on the meeting agenda and to make sure the language is accessible to all.
