It’s been our first week back in the office of 2025! Although the weather has affected a lot of our members coming in, we’ve still done a lot of amazing work…
✪ Last Friday we got the chance to see all our members, as we had an Awards Ceremony to celebrate all their achievements! We did something similar in 2023 at The Big Thanks event, and we knew that we just had to do something similar again after all of our members did so much incredible work in 2024! It was amazing to see so many members there with their parents and carers who got to celebrate their achievements as well.
✪ All across this week, our members have been talking about what they would all like to get out of this year at People First. Everyone had ideas for lots of different pieces of work, continuing projects we’ve been doing this year, and different services and organisations we could work with! We will be discussing this more next week when everyone can be in the office but
✪ Thursday also saw our member Wayne doing some crafting to make a smaller version of the poem that we have been working on with Antony from the People Powered Press! Working with the Press for Bradford 2025 is a very exciting piece of work we have coming up this year that we can’t wait to share more about.
