This week at People First Keighley and Craven...

It’s our FINAL WEEK of work this year at People First Keighley and Craven before we break up for Christmas and New Year’s!
✪ Across this week, our members have been updating their CV Scrapbooks, which are books where they can print and stick pictures and bits of writing about the different projects they work on when they come to People First. It has been a lot of fun looking through all the work everyone has done over 2024 and seeing just how busy we have all been!
✪ On Thursday, we did some baking of biscuits to get ready for our Mince Pie Moment!
✪ Five of our members also did an incredible performance in a video re-creating the East 17 “Stay Another Day” music video!
✪ Friday saw the final episode of the People First Podcast Season 3 being released! This week’s show is our Christmas Special, where our podcast members have written different pieces about parts of Christmas and the holiday season they are interested in sharing. There is a lot of really good information, including about the history of Christmas, how to stay warm in winter in your home and outside… as well as lots of laughs with Christmas jokes!
✪ And to finish off the week, downstairs in Central Hall we held our Mince Pie Moment event! Rebecca ran a Christmas Quiz (which we all had fun doing!) and we had a raffle for a few small prizes picked out by our volunteer Margaret! It was so much fun seeing a lot of our members coming to join in and a few people from outside our organisation.
