A hate crime reporting centre is a place where you can go to report a hate crime to the Bradford Hate Crime Alliance and get support.
What is a Hate Crime?
A hate crime can be a few different things, like verbal abuse and name calling, bullying, or damage to your property. Crimes become hate crimes when someone is attacking you because they think you are different in some way.
What can a hate crime be about?
A hate crime can happen because people are targeting someone for their:
- Race, Ethnic Origin or Nationality
- Sexual orientation
- Gender identity
- Religion
- Disability
