Learning Disability Awareness Workshop

Every year in June, we celebrate Learning Disability Awareness Week.

During this year’s celebration, People First Keighley and Craven are hosting an online workshop all about learning disabilities!

We are looking for people interested in learning more, as well as carers and members of groups that work with adults or young people with learning disabilities, or ones who are looking to learn more

Our CEO Catrina, who has lived experience of disabilities, will be leading the talk of what it means to have learning disabilties and ways that you can properly support people with learning disabilities in your life, in inclusive, supportive and respectful ways — with important input from our members throughout.

We can promise a friendly space for discussion with like-minded people in this community.
